What do you need to know before you book

  • The entrance fee at Tierra Sagrada is 25 USD per adult and 12.5 USD per child. Please keep in mind this is not included and shall be paid at check-in.

  • Round-trip transportation is included from select hotels exclusively for our guests who book their tours at least 24 hours in advance. For reservations booked less than 24 hours in advance it is necessary to call (624) 173-9528.

  • Minimum age: 8 years old

  • Max weight: 265 lbs (120 kg) per person

  • For safety reasons, cell phones, cameras and Gopro are not permitted during the Camel and ATV ride

  • ATV driver must be 18 years old or older and present a valid driver´s license

  • Mandatory exemption of payment for damages: $35 usd

  • Expecting mothers may not participate

How long is this tour?
This excursion is approximately 3 hours plus the transportation to Tierra Sagrada.
Where is this tour taking place?
Situated in one of the largest unpopulated and pristine deserts in Mexico Rancho “Tierra Sagrada” is located 45 minutes north of Cabo San Lucas hidden away from bustling resorts and close to charming pueblitos like Cerritos and Todos Santos.
Are camels native to Mexico?
Camels are native to Africa the Middle East and Asia but have been introduced to other areas such as Mexico due to their ability to carry people and gear through the desert. Our Camels enjoy their home at Tierra Sagrada here with Cabo Adventures and love to meet the travellers as they are very social species.
What kind of food do you serve?
Savor a delicious multi-course lunch that includes traditional chicken with mole barbecue ribs Mexican rice beans salads and salsa bar hand made quesadillas among other delicious dishes (vegetarian options available too)
Is there an age requirement for driving the ATV?
Yes. We require all drivers to be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license to ensure everyone's safety on the tour. Adventurers under 18 are welcome to ride the ATVs as passengers.
Are cameras permitted on the excursion?
To ensure all our guests safety guests are not permitted to have cameras out during either the ATV tour or Camel Ride. We encourage our adventurers to keep both hands on the wheel or reigns during this portion of the day trip. To commemorate the fun we have professional photographers who are more than happy to take high quality images of your experience to put into your vacation photo album.
Will I get dirty or wet?
Yes! You will be driving a 4x4 modern automatic ATV through the desert! You will get dirty during the ride as part of the adventure! We recommend bringing a change of clothes.
Is it obligatory to pay the exemption of payment for damages?
Yes this payment of 35 usd is mandatory to be exempt from paying for damages you may cause to your vehicle or to other vehicles while on route. Payment is per vehicle not per person.
